The winter hours are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. every Saturday, with one scheduled break—no market on December 27th. After that, the market will resume right through early spring, wrapping up just in time for the outdoor season to return downtown.

If you’ve never visited the Westside Community Services Building before, it’s conveniently located near several key routes, with easy parking and plenty of indoor space. The setup allows vendors and visitors to stay warm while keeping that same friendly market atmosphere Sun Prairie is known for.

Where to Find Sharp On Sight This Winter

For those asking—and many have—I’ll still be sharpening on-site throughout the winter, but I’ll be stationed outside in my enclosed sharpening trailer rather than inside the building. That setup allows me to safely handle the sparks, belts, and tools required for sharpening knives, scissors, and other blades without bringing all that into the indoor vendor area.

The trailer will be set up just outside the Westside Community Services Building every Saturday the market is open, same time: 9:00 a.m. to noon. You can drop your items off as you arrive, do your shopping inside, and then pick them up on your way out.

Whether it’s kitchen knives dulled by holiday prep, hair shears that need to be ready for the busy winter salon season, or mower blades you forgot to get sharpened before storage—everything can still be handled on-site.
